Tim Russert’s funeral service at the Kennedy Center

    This is such a heartbreaking time for journalism. I went to the wake Tuesday. It took close to two hours to make your way from the cathedral grounds into the school building. It was amazing to see so many different people of all backgrounds come together to pay their respects to Russert. Luke was there accepting condolences- standing tall and so proud. It was an honor to meet him.

    Now that the funeral is over NBC plans to name an interim moderator. I think Andrea Mitchell would be a good fit.
