Wild Driving Day

Don’t you wish you were driving a people mover to work this morning?

As the Honey Bunny and I escape to Florida and leave you in the snow, we saw a wild sight on The Dulles Toll Road. Cars skidded off into grass and medians that looked like a drunken bumper car mayhem.

We made the drive safely, but only after seeing a few spin outs a little too close up.

Be safe out there today, and stay off the roads if you can.

Heh, from the photo I thought the Dulles mobile lounges were the ones doing the wild driving and cross-road skidding. That would be awesome. DULLES DEMOLITION DERBY! WITH PLANES!

Unfortunately that’s not far from accurate – on the ground accidents are on the rise the last ten years.

Actually, when I drove to Leesburg, it was hysterical to see the traffic backed up from the Beltway all the way out past the Greenway Toll Plazas.

What – you don’t drive a people mover over in Petworth?
