DC is Officially Uptight

Wandering through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco today, BB and I came across the most interesting sight.

Our collective first thought: imagine a Wonders of Cannabis festival on the National Mall. Now wouldn’t that be groovy? And impossible.

DC is way too uptight to be San Francisco cool.

maybe the mall won’t have this b/c the federal government owns the mall and its a federal offense to possess cannabis. Don’t blame DC for the Federal government’s uptightness…now STFU

    Jesus wept.

Uhm, I’m going to let numbnuts here – whose documented uptightness has been well manifested in various picayune obsessions (including his neighbors house, lines outside the passport office, a number of CVSes and their lack of loading docks) speak for itself.

There is a "National Smoke-In"day on the national mall every summer. Its been going on since the hippie sit-in days of the 60’s. DC’s not nearly as uptight as you think.

Wait, Wayan, aren’t you one of the people who lead the charge against smoking in DC? And now you want people to do MORE of it?

Depends on what people are smoking, and int his case it was all outdoors anyway.
