Condom Complaints?

Getting your groove on with the DC-branded condom may not be the wisest of things, what with the expiration dates on many of them not being legible, and the paper wrapping that they’re packaged in may easily damage the condom inside. With 1 in 6 of the condoms returned to the health department, and with the health department saying they “haven’t received substantive complaints,” you have to wonder what the hell those people are hearing.

I mean, maybe if they had spent a few more cents per unit, we could’ve packaged them in foil or plastic like everyone else, or maybe even gotten a graphic on the unit that didn’t look like it was made by the Wisconsin Design School for the Blind and Mentally Deranged. Then again, this is DC, and I guess we get what we pay for?
