In case you were wondering

Apparently the north side of Rt 50 is the French side. The south side is in English.

I’m used to Virginia’s weird road layouts – my favorite has to be the intersection where if you want to stay on Waxpool you make a left hand turn but continuing forward – with no other varying landmarks – it becomes a different road.

This is the first time I’ve come across where the road name is the same but changes languages.

Seriously – what are the NoVA road planners smoking? I want some.

Don, if you follow that same street it goes from E+W Church Road in Sterling to Waxpool in Ashburn to Farmwell to Ashburn Farm Parkway to Sycolin in Leesburg all withing 4-6 miles.
