If you are in the Inhofe camp (global warming is “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people”) and perhaps enjoy reading the Environment Section of Capitalism Magazine or similar content on FrontPage and other sources, then you might be interested joining the Global Warming Hoax Rally taking place on the west lawn of the Capital on April 13th.

Participants are encouraged to drive individually in their Detroit Leviathans from all points, then clog local parking spaces to further demonstrate the view that these “green” people are twisting the scientific evidence for their own agenda. Using the Metro or other mass transit, riding a bike or walking (gasp!) is a sure sign that you are a weenie.

A series of enlightening speeches by a team of international experts will be followed by the ceremonial chopping down of a tree, meant to symbolize that God put natural resources on the planet for our use and the betterment of mankind. Although discouraged, because it tends to draw the attention of Capital police, past participants have been know to brandish gas cans and axes to further bolster support for the movement.

The event is sponsored by oil conglomerate Excon and lumber powerhouse Boi Masquerade.
