I just happened to notice that the Web site for DC Sports and Entertainment Commission is down. DCSEC manages RFK Stadium and the Armory.
Did somebody forget to pay the Web host this month?

In researching my latest post, I ran across that as well. I found them at http://www.washdcsports.com/
i looked at this and thought,”hmm. isn’t that the website my coworker maintains?”
um, yea.
(i’ll see what i can do about the re-routing from the original web address. seriously.)

It’s the D.C. Government. What do you expect?
I don’t think “anon for her job” will have one much longer. The current blog post (under her real name):

what have i really done in the last few weeks at work?
…..
i’ve blogged. alot.
and i’ve talked on the IM. alot.
and i’ve read all sorts of geek-like things.
(most of which have been incredibly entertaining.)
but that’s really the extent of it.

i really don’t want to be looking for a new job.
wait, i take that back.
man, oh man . . . no one can take a joke here, huh. i’m not *that* dense. :)
it really is my company, and my coworker really is on the phone right now as i type trying to get it fixed. it’s actually a *good* thing you caught it! now we can fix it. so THERE.
oh, and WAYAN, way to be a narc.
(sorry about the double post, too. the network was jumpy where i was last night and must have sent the request twice while it tried to connect.)
dcsec.com is back up now.
