Smouie Kablooie hit Tysons Corner today to enjoy the benefits of Spa Week. The 50-minute massage at the Modern Day Spa for $50 was a great deal.

Afterwards we enjoyed lunch at Coastal Flats – where like all Great American Restaurants – you can enjoy a reasonably good meal while wathing the wait staff conform to strict standards of dress and language (e.g. Levis 501s, collarless white button-down shirts, and saying "my pleasure" any time you thank them for something).

Afterwards we strolled around the mall and did our part to support the American economy. Apparently a fellow shopper was so overwhelmed by the effort, he decided to catch a quick nap on the couches in the newest part of the mall.

We also found out where at least one local trance/techno d.j. ended up since Buzz said goodbye as Nation’s closed its doors to make way for the Southeast Waterfront’s development projects. Yes, he’s making ends meet by spinning sets at the new Puma store.
