$tarbucks
All of this cawffee tawk has me thinking of two things — Linda Richmond and this 2005 article from The Post. Since we are Metroblogging DC and not Metroblogging Bay Ridge, I’ll skip posting one of the SNL skits and focus on the article.
Seattle University School of Law determined that a law student with a $3 a day latte habit could turn into $4,154 debt over ten years. The article assumes 1.) that borrowed money is being spent on all those cups of joe 2.) lattes only cost $3.
In the end, it makes me glad I do not drink coffee. I’d rather talk about donuts anyway. Krispy Kreme are good, but too expensive and you go into hyperglycemic shock before you can get filled up on them. Dunkin Donuts were always second to the long-lost Mister Donut too, but faling a return of the latter, another 325 (!) area locations of the former will have to do. Back in the day, Pammy K’s were pretty special too.
Well struth, Ruth! That article sounds awfully family and hits close to home, perhaps that’s why I’ve neglected to return to law school this semester; too much s’bucks.
