Nation’s Triathlon Registration is OPEN

Okay everyone, the Nation’s Triathlon is on, and now it’s on for you, those who were on the fence and undecided, those who didn’t pre-register.

You ready? Then register now!

Oh, one slight change. After howling from those who wanted a “real” Olympic distance triathlon and were disappointed with the modified course design, Charles Brodsky went back to the drawing board and found space to stretch the course to a 1.5k swim, 32k bike, and 10k run.

How might this new course differ? Let’s have Charles tell us:

The run now goes up to the foot of the Lincoln Memorial, past the Jefferson Memorial, past the Roosevelt Memorial and around the Tidal Basin to a finish at the foot of the Washington Monument. Swimmers enter the Potomac from the swim platform of the Potomac Belle riverboat, swim to the foot of the Key Bridge and head for the swim exit with the Washington Monument as the site line.

If you have questions, concerns, or just wanna drink, you can meet Charles at today’s DC Tri Club Happy Hour at Cantina Marina.
