Dear Linda Cropp

Just because Adrian Fenty doesn’t want DC to turn into a Police State doesn’t mean “Mr. Fenty does not even recognize that there is a neighborhood crime problem” It just means that your cheap cookie-cutter solution of adding more cops and installing crime-moving cameras doesn’t appeal to him.

Thanks for trying,

Me.

Mary Cheh, candidate for Ward 3 Council, and GWU Law Professor, came out against the legislation. Seemed pretty reasonable to me.

Amen. Half-assed efforts from the city like this are why we are in the situation we’re in.

Agreed. Fenty is showing he’s not afraid to do more than just pretend the problem is a lack of cops. He voted for more cops several times in the past, and obviously he’s figured out that more cops doesn’t reduce crime.
