Pothole Making Crew Conversion?
“Hey Bob, you think DC DOT will ever fill that pothole we made in front of the Mt Pleasant library? The one I took the traffic cone from the other day.”
“Yeah, one day, but not anytime soon. It’s DC we’re talking about here.”
“But what if a citizen called it in to the Mayor’s Service Request Center and asked for the ‘P. Tel Co’ manhole to be filled in?”
“What? Oh, that citywide call center at (202) 727-1000? Maybe, but what do I care? Remember, Dave, we are the pothole making crew, we don’t care about fixing ’em.”
“I know, but I was just wondering. They say the city has changed under Mayor Williams.”
“Okay Dave, let’s go by today, if only to shut you up.”
