Give me the social sciences, or give me death…

I’m not a science kind of girl, and in fact it was the subject I liked least in grade school. In university I took the required base science courses for my generals, and then skipped right over the science department section in the scheduling book all the way through grad school. That being said, I’m clearly not an aspiring scientist and to be quite frank the earth sciences don’t even interest me, but these science projects are still impressive that a couple kids from Alexandria won for in their science fair.

Our science projects even in high school usually involved drawing on an overhead projector or an exploding model volcano – so I’m impressed. With this Intel-sponsored event, however, the winners (of the national fair) get a $50,000 university scholarship. Good for Intel!
