STRIKE ANYWHERE at the Black Cat Saturday

strike anywherephoto by kentaro kanbe.

i’ve been waiting for this show for months. strike anywhere is a kick ass punk band. this is not a bunch of kids who decided if they make enough noise, no one will care if they suck. these guys are amazing musicians. the singer thomas, who looks like a punk fraggle, provides awesome vocals, inspiring lyrics, and a lot of springy jumping. most importantly, they put on an amazing live show. you will not believe the energy thomas whips up from the crowd. i will definitely be there.

show starts at 9:30. With Honor and A Global Threat are opening, neither of which i’ve heard of before.

The velour isn’t the problem, it’s the jump suit… unless you just came from your job repairing autos.
