MCI Center days are numbered
Just in case you have been on the edge of your seat waiting for the MCI Center to become the Verizon Center, you wait is almost over, according to a Verizon press release. Sunday’s Wizards vs. Kings game marks the formal debut of the Verizon Center name. The first 10,000 fans get free rallly towels and a special presentation. A day later, 10,000 Capitals fans also get rally towels and a video about the changes during the Islanders game. Please try to contain your excitement until gameday.
