Besides being the county that tops the area in murders and auto theft, we have the distinct honor of having one of the metro area’s finest amenities – drive through liquor stores. I can’t tell you how nice it is to drive up to the window for some Bass Ale (or whatever you may fancy) on the way home from work and not have to worry about braving the elements (hot or cold). After all, who wants to get out of the car when it’s raining outside to buy your favorite libation, right? All I have to say is this – move to Prince Georges County, and you won’t have to decide whether you should skip the brew for more favorable weather – as long as you can drive, you can make that beer run! Of course, don’t leave your car running unattended when you get home, or you’ll lose your car AND your beer.
