Katrina Response Protest

Oh you knew it was gonna happen, and in DC it doesn’t take long. Yep, there is already a Katrina-related protest:

    I notice they’re putting most of the blame on Bush…

    …while leaving out Ray “Fiddling while NO drowns” Nagin…

    Um, that would be “NOLA”, not “NO” and from what I hear from my friends in NOLA, Ray “Get off your asses” Nagin was doing all he could.

    It was FEMA stalling on signing PO orders for response bills that held up the show. And FEMA is part of Bush’s new-fangled Department of Homeland Security, where our super efficient airport screeners also work.

    If by “everything he could” you mean “sitting on his hands and bitching that the feds didn’t save his ass fast enough,” I suppose you’re right.
