Mean Burgers Served with a Stiletto
Sure, I’m new here. But after sampling what I’d humbly submit to you is a critical mass of District Burgers, I’m ready to commit.
Hamburger Mary’s has to lay title to the best burger’s on the block. A renovated auto garage meets house club. Open atmosphere, friendly service. And one helluva burger — veggie or beef.
I can recommend the “Flaming Mary” — for all you jalapeno lovers. Course, there’s plenty of options to suit all your bunned desires.
When your check comes in a Stiletto fit for your father, you might start reassessing the cultural relevance of burgers in modern society. I’d say that’s a good thing.
14th & N. Bring your party hat.
I love HM’s, it was my friday lunch haunt for work when we were at Thomas Circle. The service was slow, but the burgers were phenomenal, and the occasional pitcher of beer was a nice treat. Besides, it’s nice to get hit on once in a while!
My wife and I love that place. Definitely one of the best burger joints in town.
Welcome to town Rus, and good on ya for finding HM. You can sign up for their email list and get 10-20% discounts and free food on your B-day.
Also, be sure to check out the bar upstairs. Last time I was there I met Miss 2003 Gay Rodeo and several of her flirty cohorts, and my friend Scott found an entire pink rugby team.
I agree — gr8 burgers. But I am a bloody mary addict, and I was surprised to find that Mary’s, of all places, does not make a tasty bloody mary.
Yep, me loves Hamburga Mary’s, too. I gotta add that Cafe Saint Ex, located at 1847 14th Street, is really great, also. It is different. But St. Ex’s french fries are absolutely out of this world.
