Dear whoever it was who decided to show up somewhere near the Armory Metro station and the National Guard building in a white stretch limo,

You, my friend, are…well, a word I won’t say. Nice of you to ride around in a limo two blocks from a bunch of people who just lost everything they own. I hope you got in your media time and your photo op, then went back to your home in Georgetown or wherever it is you have your million dollar townhouse. Hope you sleep well tonight, buddy.

Would you rather (s)he showed up on a bike? By foot? What? So it’s a limo. I’m sure he/she slept just fine last night.

Actually, yes, I would prefer if he’d shown up on foot or a bike. If you had just lost your home, everything you own, and possibly members of your family, would you want to see a guy riding around in a limo?

Taking a limo to the game, when you know there are evacuees in the armory is a low-class move.

I don’t think he went to the game; he was parked closer to the Metro station than the stadium. There were a couple of stations doing local news reports outside the armory, and I think he might have been there for that.
