Soaring majestically, like a candy wrapper caught in an updraft
Someone on the radio this morning reported that, due to the hurricane, the summer driving season, and other factors, gas prices in at least one area could soar to as high as $3.50 a gallon. Prices are supposedly going to go back down after Labor Day, but I doubt they’ll drop too much. Hey, maybe Wayan’s on to something with that whole bike-riding thing.
Yep, now y’all are starting to realize my Car Free DC lifestyle isn’t so crazy after all.
If you do still have that need to drive, you might as well use technology to ease the pain. Namely, the Google Cheap Gas Hack that shows you where the cheapest gas is.
Gas in Shirlington at 6:45a was still at $2.73…here’s hoping we all don’t go crazy…
