Hold Your Tongue
I’m watching the Washington Nationals as they host the Houston Astros. The score is 4-0, Nats up. Tony Armas, Jr. is on the mound and at the end of 5 innings, he’s allowed only two baserunners, both on walks.
The sixth inning begins and after the first out, Armas walks a batter. At that point, the dummy on the microphone mentions that with only three walks given, Armas is working on a no-hitter. After a long at-bat, Lance Berkman proceeds to put one over right field. Two run homer. Cuts the lead in half and there goes the no-no.
Thanks a lot, dumb-ass!
