High Steaks
The results are in on AOL Cityguide’s annual “dining best of…” surveys. Here is a list of the most popular Steakhouses in the DC area. The site also features other categories such as DC’s most popular cheap eats and late-nite dining spots.
These lists don’t offer any earth-shattering insight on DC dining but they are a decent little guide to some spots around town, old and new.
There’s no way ruth’s chris belongs at the top of that list. I’m sorry, but I’ve had dinner at Morton’s, Ray’s and Blackie’s and they all beat out ruth’s by a good margin. I smell a pay-off.
Also, where the heck is Bobby Van’s?!!?
Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. I totally agree with you. Especially the new and improved Blackie’s. Food and service are great there.
For some reason, some people included their faves from Fredericksburg. Claibourne’s is alright, but for the price, it doesn’t come close to Olde Towne Steak and Seafood’s Prime Rib. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything at Blackie’s, Morton’s of Ruths Chris’ that came close to that.
