I went to DC9 on Friday night and had a great time. The bar/club is on 9th and V, near the 9:30 Club. The place is small, but has comfortable booths and an awsome old bar. There are several beers on tap, but I stuck to the Schlitz cans (it’s the beer that made Milwaukee famous!). I hadn’t had Schlitz in a can since I was living in Chicago. DC9 has a dance club upstairs, and the Liberation Dance Party was going on while I was there. The music was great. Mostly indie, but some new wave and hip hop as well. The club charges a cover ($5), but we could hear the music fine from our comfy booth, and didn’t feel like dancing. I guess this place also hosts concerts, and seems like a more low key Black Cat. I’m definitely going to go back.

I’m sorry Chris there seems to be a typo, the brand name of your beverage apparently has a extra letter in. That “L” really looks out of place….

“l” looks outta place? No, the “c” and “l” are in the wrong word.
