This Saturday, 7/16, I’m spinning a dance party called Right Round UP! As it is on the main stage of the Black Cat, it’s the bigger version of the Right Round party I do each month on the backstage. Usually, the little version is all 80s alt-pop. But Right Round UP! is different:

You’ll get brit-pop
You’ll get synth-pop
You’ll get alt-pop
You’ll get new wave
You’ll get a chance to hang out with my parents! (They’re really fun and cool, so say hello! My mom looks like a short version of me [the only difference being that her hair is actually a color that occurs in nature…])

Plus there will be plenty of room for the get-down AND very admirably functioning air conditioning (unlike the backstage…) YAY! Another difference is that this party, unlike it’s little brother, is not decade-specific, so even the really old stuff is fair game!
