Good Thai
I just got back into the city, and I decided to start a campaign to outlaw strollers. The tourists are just ridiculous near the zoo . . . so many, so many.
Meanwhile, I ate at a Thai restaurant near the MCI Center last night called Kanlaya (740 6th Street). First of all, it was nice to not eat in a chain restaurant while in that area. Second, the food was actually pretty good. Their tropical drinks are mixed heavy, and the food came out quickly and well prepared. I got a green papaya salad with shrimp as an appetizer. I
If you’re going to ban strollers, can I count on you to meet us at the zoo when we mosey down from Chevy Chase (the DC side, mind you) to the zoo with the toddler and the baby, and help out with the child carrying?
Thought not.
