Now WUSA is saying that there was ANOTHER mall stabbing in Northern VA! This one was at Pentagon City Mall around 6:30 p.m. What is it about malls that elicit so much violence? Is it the inability to find a good parking spot?

Yikes! Y’all out there in the burbs scare me, what with stabbings and all going down when you’re browsing for matching linen. Next NoVA foray, I’m bring my can of whoop-ass just in case.

Dude, Wayan, it’s soooo worse in DC. Have you been following the MS-13 conflict?

MS-13 is a NoVA import to DC, or so says the FBI in Newsweek

“But Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, wasn’t terrifying just northern Virginia. “They were popping up everywhere,” says Chris Swecker, assistant director of the FBI’s criminal investigative division.”

And before that you had the sniper duo, who were tagging folks in car-land, not DC. Its a lot safer here in the “scary” city than you might imagine.

It’s not that I find DC scary, it’s that it has a higher violent crime rate than NoVA. :)
