No Hunting Necessary for Easter Eggs
While the White House Easter Egg Roll was rained out on Monday, there are still eggs to be had. Well, the wooden White House souvenir eggs anyway. Tiffany and I walked up to the White House Historical Society’s headquarters on Jackson Place today and bought a few for the very reasonable price of $4 each. There are other sites charging up to $36 each, so know where you’re shopping. These are also the nice people who bring you the White House Christmas ornament each year if you’re ever looking for a special present for someone with no idea what to get. It was almost a nice day with the magnolia trees just getting past bud stage but not quite blooming yet. Now if only the sun would shine for more than 3 hours once a week…
Dammit, I was going to blog this but you beat me to it. That’ll teach me to go to midnight movies…
