Hello there!. !! Happy Thanksgiving!! :) :)
Thanksgiving is 1 of my favorite holidays, and every yr I like to get into the mood-extend the holiday, as it were-by reading "Thanksgiving novels." Not surprisingly, those stories are mostly about family, about coming together to heal old hurts and getting thanks for the gift of love. .. . --

Dear Patrick,

I hope you are doing well. I am working with Pitney Bowes and wanted to reach out to you regarding our 2010 “Holiday Mail for Heroes” campaign with the Red Cross. We certainly appreciated your post last year about the project, and want to thank you again for helping us touch so many service members, family members and veterans in 2009.

This year, the goal of the campaign remains the same: to recruit Americans to send holiday cards with their messages of thanks and cheer to service members, veterans and their families. It is our hope once again that, through this campaign, American service men and women in the U.S. and around the world will receive a much needed touch of home during this holiday season.

This year, information about the Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign can be found at http://www.redcross.org/holidaymail and http://redcrosschat.org/2010/10/26/holiday-mail-for-heroes-2010/. The site includes information about what types of cards can be sent, how cards should be addressed, and also provides further information regarding how you can get involved. I wanted to see if you would be willing to spread the word about the campaign again this year through your blog, helping us send a touch of home to our U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and their families when they need it most.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I’m available through the Twitter handle @Mail4Heroes as well. I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards,

Andrew Saladino
