I have been living in the DC area since 1978. Starting in NW DC, I soon moved to McLean, VA, and then to Rockville, MD, where I lived until 1985. I have been a resident of Falls Church, VA since 1985 and love my neighborhood. Despite all the nearby development, my neighborhood retains a small-town feel; I actually know most of my neighbors. I grew up in a small town on the eastern shore of MD but longed to move somewhere more lively. After visiting the area with a friend, I knew I wanted to move here, and soon, the opportunity came my way. I am always on the lookout for new things to see and do, and this site will help me with that.
