What the hell, Google? First you don’t include our fair city in your first round of street photos (you could have spotted Libby!) and now we’re slighted on the new transit tool. Fooey!

    This has been under development for a while now, IIRC. They started with Portland. They’re probably trying to see if there’s some way they can automagically import every bus timetable in the world or something. That current list is kind of scattered.

    Metro already has this. They don’t advertise it, but its called NextBus, and it uses Google Maps and works pretty well. It’s on a limited number of lines but hopefully they will get it on the entire bus system by the end of the year:
