Snow Apocalypse 2.5: Revenge Of The Bad Hastags!

I haven’t been to work in a week.
While I managed to get out to a happy hour last night, and I took a walk in the wind tonight, my roommate and I are feeling the effects of cabin fever- which has reduced my blogging skills to simple bullet points:
- Federal Government? Closed for Thursday.
- Metro? Never seeing the light of day again: running underground only.
- DC Schools? Closed. Everybody else? Closed too.
- Is it me or has the Dupont Circle Snowball fight jumped the shark? They have a logo and t-shirt now? Come on.
- At the same time throwing snowballs at other people is fine- just don’t hit a cop.
- Lots of cute photos of pets in the snow have surfaced this past week, the first dog is also getting in on the action.
- The Safeway in Tenleytown is found abandoned but amazingly customers leave cash on the counter.
- All in all we already have the snowiest winter on record– and it’s not even March yet.
Stay warm!
