Wow, I could totally go for some chilitos right now; too bad they stopped making them years ago. Those were tasty and cheap…

The only Bell near me is a horrid KFC/Bell hybrid at Kingstowne Plaza that has a constant way-too-long drive-thru and consistently dirty everything inside.

Sadly, the Bell in Courthouse is closed. It was part of the same parcel of land bought up by the developers for condos that took Dremo’s from us. I won’t miss Dremo’s, but I will miss the Bell.

If they bring back those old school Taco Bell signs, I’m all for more of them.

There’s also a Bell on Conn Ave up by the Van Ness/UDC stop (a couple of blocks south). But I think it’s also a KFC/Bell combo or something. Haven’t been in there in ages.

There’s one on Wilson Blvd. in Arlington, right down the hill from Court House metro, next to the former Bardo/Dr. Dremo’s. Not "in the city," true, but not that far out and highly metro-convenient.

I dream of the days a vegan can get a 7 layer burrito minus the cheese and sour cream in the city… it’s sad when I look forward to leaving the city in hopes of passing by a Taco Bell!
