However, I've been seeing the signs hinting at an upcoming strike at the Safeway here in Rosslyn and, as far as I'm concerned, they can go rot. Safeway, not just here but every one I've been to, has consistently had the least and most incompetent service of any grocery store. So I really don't care if they strike. I was a member of the union back when I worked at a grocery store in Roanoke.

But while Whole Foods does have some lovely organic foods, they have some <em>very</em> questionable labor practices.
