		<description>Regarding the crime cameras: bring them on.  People need to get over our unreasonable fear of &quot;Big Brother&quot;. When I lived in London I never felt oppressed or in danger of some government conspiracy. In fact, I always felt much freer than I do here.  Even have seen people walking down streets smoking joints right in front of the CCTV without a care.  Everyone there knows that the cameras are there to catch big fish doing big bad things. Camera operators could care less what us peons are doing.  

In London, I did however feel extremely safe, even walking home in the wee hours of the night.
