Plus - let's be optimistic - the quarters will be around for a long time ... hopefully longer than the 'screw you, DC' mentality Congress has right now. I'm sentimental this way, but I would much rather see the cherry blossoms around the tidal basin, the Smithsonian castle or a representation (not a bust since that seems to be prohibited) of a famous, historic figure hailing from Washington (as suggested by a few in the WaPo article). I would strongly suggest moving to a State to be represented.But then again,I have not seen a fair Representation of the people from any of the States in quite a few years.
