I don't have this problem -- They don't distribute out my way; too few polo-wearing-uptights in the hood, I figure -- But the concern I've heard involves unresponsive circulation people and the red-flag to break-in thieves: Go for a vacation for, say, 5-10 days and the pileup of papers on the doorstep makes it clear that nobody's home. So c'mon in, steal everything. Have a wee on the carpet. That's a good thuggy. Enjoy your stay. I'm pretty fond of the Examiner myself. It has the best city planning, real estate development, and local political coverage of all the local papers. Throw in editorials by Jonetta Rose Barras and the fact that its FREE, you've got newspaper Shangri-La. To each their own, I suppose.
