		<description>I went, during my second and last Halloween in D.C.

I thought it odd, albeit not entirely unpredictable, that the crowd was predominantly straight.  I imagine the evening was more fun when the crowd was smaller, more rambunctious, and likely as flamboyant as the drag queens themselves.  

Although I guess it hasn&#039;t gotten so mainstream and large that they had to cancel it, i.e. like they did in the Castro:
