Passport Photos in Washington DC

That’s what I need, passport photos. As I am standing here in the passport line crowd control of M Street NW, waiting to renew my US passport.

But where can I get passport photographs in Washington DC? Who knows the passport agency rules on how to shoot and crop photographs? Who uses the right paper stock for the prints?

I wish there was a store around here that took quality passport photos. If only there was a sign…

I don’t know what’s near you or near the Passport office, but the Ritz in my former office building at 10th & Penn takes them. So, probably any Ritz will do it.

Thanks a lot. I laughed out loud in my cubicle thanks to this!

That’s only one store. Every copy, photo, convenience store on 19th ST between M and L has a sign touting “Passport photos.” I prefer the Indian guy next to the tux rental store. He’s polite, usually has nothing else to do, and will give you a freebie 3×4 version of the photo with some sort of photoshopped frame for free :)

I work on the corner of 19th & L, so see him every day.

Event CVS has passport photos now. There’s no shortage.

I’m glad Megan got the point of this post. If you’ve ever walked by the Passport Office, this is the store right next door. Subtle its not.

    And then there’s everyone’s favorite – – Northern Virginia’s quality photo headquarters.
