For Sale: Kenmore Washer Dryer Set w/ Free Delivery

Soon after assuming my half-million dollar mortgage, I started thinking on how to convert my basement to a livable space for friends and family.

The first step on the long path to add a kitchen is to sell the high capacity & heavy duty Kenmore washer dryer set that came with the house.

They are clean and modern, in perfect working order – just like new. As a Metroblogging DC special, I’m selling the washer and dryer for only $350, a ~60% savings from their retail prices.

You can see the current model equivalents here: washer: 02627542000 dryer: 02667422000.

I’m even offering free delivery in Petworth & Columbia Heights neighbourhoods of Washington DC. Or you can pick them up. I can also deliver them for $15-$50 elsewhere in the Metro area, depending on distance, but cash payment is required before delivery.

Has dc metblogs become craigslist? Common, this post almost made me delete dc metblogs from my google reader list.

I agree, this is a little strange to be posting on MBDC. Craigslist is more appropriate.

Anyone want to buy a Canon i9900 photo printer? $350 plus a full set of spare ink cartridges.

    c’mon.

it gives us dcmetblog folks the first dibs on the goods! i hate going after stuff on craigslist and finding out that it’s already been sold.

thanks for giving us the first dibs, wayan!

I am with you Poo Poo. Not only is hunting on Craigslist a pain, posting stuff for sale there is a double drag.

Not only do they now forbid any pictures but their own, they’ve cracked down on formatting HTML, making each post look like crap.

Worst of all, you cannot link to outside sites, so I’d never be able to show the models on Sears.com that these are equal to, or the photo set I made of my washer/dryer on Flickr.

    Worst. Post. Ever.

Huh, I’ve posted LOTS of stuff on Craigslist, and have used my own photos, as well as linked to other info. I second the vote that this is not the type of post I come to this blog to read.

I thought this was going to be some sort of joke, but apparently not. I don’t understand what Wayan was thinking.

    c’mon folks.

if it were a ferrari for $7,000.00
NONE of you would be complaining that it should’ve been on craigslist.

wayan was actually doing metblogs folks a favor.

but.. at least now i know not to post my ferrari for $7,000.00 on this list, cuz it’s not appreciated.

you folks probably would argue me down anyway, apparently.

    y’all owe wayan a thanks…
