		<description>It appears to me that the original structure was a 4 lane bridge (1967), as evidenced by the steel trusses being only 4 lanes wide.  I was ivolved in bridge construction in the 70&#039;s in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi and saw many upgrades where bridge decks were widened with diagonal support members were added to support the extra width.  This has even happened where I live (Marble Falls, Tx) where our 2 lane bridge was widened to 4 lanes without any mods to the original structure with the exception of the same diagonal supports tied back to the original structural girters to accomidate the doubling of the road deck.  Any comments?</description>
