There are a few problems that the Nats need to address:

- Dependable Outfielders: Robert Fick has a lot of heart and I love watching him bat, but he needs to stay at first base or sit as a utility guy. Keep him out of the outfield. Nook Logan is quick in the field but an abysmal batter and always looks like he saw a ghost after a strike out. Langerhans is just bad.

- Pitching: The Nats need to find some young talent and try to build from within. It couldn't hurt to trade for a young pitcher like Mike Pelfrey that obviously has talent but needs refining. As much as I would hate to see them both go, I think the Nats need to use the value of John Rausch and Chad Cordero to trade for starting pitchers. Cordero pitches well in RFK, but he reminds me of Jorge Julio in his approach to the job. Rausch can pitch anywhere and probably could close for someone.

Anyone disagree?

They already gave Young a 2 year extension, I think that was probably a good move.
