Quick, local iPark users, call up Arlington and refill your device. I called this morning to refill my iPark, only to be warned that this was the last time I could do so before I needed a new device. Arlington’s parking meters got more expensive on the 1st of July, and there isn’t support in the iPark system for the dynamic rate change in the iPark device, so stock up now, for soon you’ll need to trade in your iPark device for a new device with different rates.

There’s a shortage of good information about iPark and the rate change on the County website, but if my conversation this morning is any indication, you’d better call soon to refill your device, or you might have to take a trip to the County offices sooner, rather than later.
