If not surreal, then at least a little funny. Earlier I saw Michael Moore’s Sicko at the AMC Loews Georgetown 14. About 20 minutes in to it the film showed a woman who was denied insurance coverage because of her body mass index — basically the insurance company said she was too fat even though she doesn’t look to be at an unhealthy weight.

It then showed a couple of shots of her walking. Many in the audience laughed at these shots because she was walking on the sidewalk on K Street … right outside the AMC Loews Georgetown 14.
