You're right - my list was pretty much aimed at out-of-towners (who make up most of my readers). But it would be cool to assemble a great list of favorite and little-known photographic locations in the city. I suspect your readers might be great for that if you ask them for ideas. If you do that, I'd definitely write a follow-up with a link on my site to what you found. There are just so many great things to photograph in DC and I bet it would be a pretty great guide! I am being called on the carpet for not listing enough great spots in Washington. Well, you are absolutely right. There are many great spots that I did not include and your suggestions are great ones. Lincoln Park, Old Town - all of them. But I can think of a bunch more that aren't on my list, or yours. The problem :-) with this city is it's got way too much to offer for photographers!
