Upwards of a dozen or so folks living full-time in a small tent city across from the white house. Krishna folks would come by once a week & feed 'em, it was a unique scene. Last I saw that was in the late '80s. Then I moved away for a bit, & sometime before coming back, looks like the park police have "cleaned up" that stretch, but somehow Connie remains, bless'er.
