Not Stopping for Pedestrians is Bad Form This Spring
If you were the guy who was honking at me this morning along E Street, please accept my apologies. I felt it would be more fashionable to wait until there were no pedestrians crossing in front of my car. If I committed some giant faux pas by not responding immediately, I am truly sorry to have delayed you and extra five seconds.
You jerk. It is quite clear that you were not among the elect either, so we are in this boat together, pal.
I guess I am like Don, who insists on driving safely, despite what the people behind him seem to feel entitled to do.
I’m pretty sure I know the intersection you’re referring to, as I cross it at least twice daily. It’s an “OK To Turn on Red” intersection, with inbound interlopers constantly careening down it after getting off US-50.
Still more douchebaggery from the MB staff.
Douchebaggery in what sense?
Yeah, Breaux – I should have run over the pedestrians, right? You are an ass.
Paulo – this was a different place. A stop sign with a crosswalk.
You know, cuz peddies are a nuisance for walking across the street so why not just reduce their numbers by running them down.
[Just in case, I’m being sarcastic.]
Give me a break – it’s not like I am a Metrobus driver.
And like that, Carl has discovered Breaux’s secret identity.
I too am guessing I’ve been at that intersection. The one by Cafe Atlantico?
throngs of pedestrians were crossing at the other side of the street and moron behind me was merrily blowing his horn. wonder if it was the same guy?
