I am actually curious if the new system will be completely adhered to once it is rolled out. Arlington is also getting rid of their trunked 800MHz system in about a year, as I understand, so perhaps the two changes will happen simultaneously. I think 10-96 will stay on though, because it's bad form for the police to refer to some "crazy fucker" on the air. I know they are doing away with the ten-codes but they are still out there.
