All The President’s Men – unwatched
Of all the Washington-DC based movies, which do you think should be a requirement for residency in the District of Columbia?
My vote: All the President’s Men.
A classic on Watergate, Washington, and the Washington Post, it is the ultimate tour de force abut the Government side of DC. And last night, I met Miss Chatter, possibly the only person in this city who hasn’t seen the movie.
Would the DC friends and family of Miss Chatter to please buy her a copy of All the President’s Men and watch it with her. Two hours of hot Robert Redford running around in way too tight jeans should be a tempt too.
I vote for “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. The alien living on Harvard Street and the motorcade going under Dupont Circle are my favorites.
Next time, take a better picture, pleeeeeze?! :-)
And I swear, I’ll see the movie soon!
Jeez, how much prettier do you feel like you need to be, Red?
I’ve never seen it either. From a look what they did to the geography perspective, “True Lies” is quite fun.
I favor “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” — the Mel Gibson / Homer Simpson remake version, that is.
All the President’s Men is a classic. However, I guess I am not nearly as much of a Redford fan as Wayan is!
Supermodel prettier! Then maybe Wayan would remember he’s met me a few times before ;-)
It’s gotta be DC CAB, people. Can there be any doubt?
I vote for “Enemy of the State” with Will Smith. It’s got everything in it — smartass NSA gen-Y eavesdroppers, decent chase scene, Georgetown architecture, and of course evil bureaucrats!
