Last night, the house across the street decided it was time for a big party. Made up of mostly (drunk) kids, the usual loud music, yelling and screaming, car alarms going off, lots of people milling about out on the street, urinating on lawns, traffic coming and going non-stop...until 3am. How do you know you're an old fart? When, instead of dreading the arrival of cops to your party, you're the one calling them to break up someone else's. Turns out this post was prematurely prescient. I party 364 days out of the year and need not a drunk bridge and tunnel puking on my shoes after mixing champagne and shots. I just might grab the Xmas present camera and head out for 3am post-party pics though. Nothing like a D&D photo montage of Adams Morgan last-callers.
