I can’t take a whole lot of time to post today, as I just started a new job (finally). But, we figured we’d stretch out the Halloween gore to the weekend with a Blood Drive. Come out, Do it.

    I lot of us would like to but thanks the Red Cross rules we cannot.

    A few rules that trip up DC folks….

    Males who have had sexual relations with another man, even once, since 1977. [Dupont Circle is out]
    · Persons who have exchanged sex for money or drugs at any time since 1977. [Don is out]
    · Persons who were born in or lived in any of the following countries since 1977: Cameroon, Central African
    Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Niger or Nigeria. [Peace Corps is out]
    · Persons who have had sexual contact with anyone born in or who has lived in these countries since 1977. [all my ex’s are out]

    Yeah, I applaud the DC Rollergirls for this drive, but I’m out for sure. It’s a shame they weren’t this cautious 20 years ago.

    Kudos for supporting a mooooooooo cause, unfortunately, since about moo-’98, I’m been banned from giving bloody (although I gave bloody every 54 days for years) because I have could have moooooooooooooooo cow disease.
